HOD Lodge Ilan Ramon  is committed to supporting Zichron Menachem  in gathering both hair and cash donations for their incredibly worthy cause. Here is their story:

Zichron Menachem provides support for any young person in Israel under the age of 25 living with cancer, as well as their parents and siblings.

One of the first questions that kids with cancer ask is, “Will I lose my hair?” Zichron Menachem collects hair from donors around the world to make much-needed wigs for children who have lost their hair during treatment.

They have made thousands of wigs for children and young adults who are fitted by wig specialists, custom made for their specific needs. Your generosity helps make these children feel beautiful inside and out.

Until now the cutting service was provided with the support of local salons. The hair salon at Zichron Menachem now provides these services as the children are already at their Day Centre for lessons and activities. This saves them the embarrassment of appearing in public without a wig as well as the difficulty of needing to bring an IV drip or other equipment with them.
